Double eyed needle

These look fun, I haven't tried them yet but have watched a few videos. The service was very good.

Good quality needle

The usually placed eye of the needle meant a great stitch. The higher hole, when used to enable a basting stitch, which is what I bought it for, started basting OK, but then the shuttle got very upset and the stitch refused to form. I am not sure I trust this method for basting as it could cause potential spaghetti thread and tension issues in the spool.

Schmetz Double Eye machine needle

Arrived very quickly. Inserts and threads very easy. Used a polyester thread and a gold metallic thread. It looks very pretty. Used it to hem a camisole.
