Lovely machine poor instructions

Just got down to finding all about my new overlocker. It looks and feels like a lovely machine but all the knobs, levers and bobins looked formidable. The instruction book looked even more complicated than the machine. After a lot of cognitive stress I managed to thread the four cottons and start sewing, just the basic overlock., it worked much to my surprise. I’m sure next time I have a go everything will be much easier. I would suggest that a short video showing how to set it up and use would be very helpful.

Good machine needs a decent manual

Having never used an overlocker before, and therefore not having anything to compare it with, my first impressions are that it is good value for money, having a decent amount of metal vs plastic components to make it sturdy. However, the manual is shockingly bad, and it is necessary to resort to third-party YouTube videos to find out how to thread it.
