Not as effective as I hopef

Followed the instructions and used old towel on hot plate of press. Did not shift all of the residue, but produced a lot of clouds of steam. Having buffed and allowed to cool I was disappointed. However, when I started using press the following day as usual I noticed 'gunk' from the plate started showing on the pressing bed. Used a screwed up paper towel and all the rest of the residue came off. So, if you sort of ignore the instructions it seems to work - use paper not old towel, apply, leave, turn on high heat, remove.

Excellent product

I have used cleaning solutions before on my speedypress and have been disappointed.This product works really well removing stains that have been on for some time.The press is now completely stain free.

Ez-Off

I had a problem with tee shirt logos being burned on to my Fastpress. I removed the majority of them but Ez-Off has definitely helped me remove the more stubborn burns.

Best iron cleaner I have used

Excellent cleaner for the iron, I had ironed something and it had stuck to my tefal steam generator and had tried everything but the black mark wouldn't come off, my sister told me about this cleaner I ordered it and the iron sole plate is perfect. The tube is about the same size as a tube of toothpaste and you only have to use a small amount so it will last a long time.

Ez Off Hot Iron Soleplate Cleaner

It did exactly what it said on the tube (remove all manner of foreign residue) unlike a similar product which failed to remove any of the gung stuck on the iron soleplate

Well, well...

I have to say I didn't expect this to work that well, but I was amazed. My iron has had a brown layer on the base for years, and there's no way I thought it would ever come off to reveal the original baseplate in pristine condition. This stuff worked quicker than I could imagine. Beware of a couple of things though. 1. it is a bit messy and 2. it is a bit smelly when being applied. You use quite a lot too, but that's all the more reason to buy this big tube from these guys instead of the tube that is a quarter of the size.

The best!

This is the best iron cleaner. We use it in our busy theatre costume department, and it's recommended by our iron suppliers. It also smells nicely of coconut.
