I had a singer Steam press and bought this one as that one broke as this one was cheaper than the singer and identical apart from the Steam buttons. I was going to go for the 80 centimeter one but being in my 60s I thought it's going to weigh too much keep lifting it off the table. So far doing a great job let's hope it lasts a long time. Did think about getting the one that came with the free little iron only because I wanted the two-year warranty as this only has one but it seemed pointless paying extra just for something that I'm not going to use. No problems so far but only used it twice let's hope if there is a problem there's no problems getting it fixed. Cannot say about the steam on it as only using it as a dry press and using the water bottle to put spray on. Figure it will last longer like that just in case it breaks down I do not want to get accused of using non-distilled water.

Excellent Product

It is a lovely iron press and work very well. Couple of things where it could improve is better insulation as the body gets very hot, Also greater room at the hinge end for sheets/duvet covers

Good design/easy to use

This press (made in China) replaces a brand that was made in Turkey and was over 25 years old. Having read many reviews I chose it partly because there is more room to push unironed (or ironed) sheets through the gap at the back by the hinge - really important for anything large. Also the footprint of the base is pretty standard - so it can use my previous base/stand The press works well. I find the steam generator very loud (unlike the previous brand) - but it is not something that I expect to use very often. It is a shame that the power cord is not 50% longer. But I have bought a 1 metre extension socket to deal with that All in all I’m pleased with it. Clothes and sheets look good

Brilliant!

Had a previous press for over 20 years and ordered this to replace Excellent quality only big bear is I can’t fold a whole quilt at the back to pull through and press like my old one. Loving the built in steam feature though!!
