Doesn’t seem to stand the test of time

We bought one of these steam irons just over 4 years ago from Ironing Press Company for domestic use only. A great iron when it worked, however it recently suffered what looked like metal fatigue on the hinge of the top plate. We wanted to replace the part rather than the whole iron but were advised that this isn’t worth it and is a very difficult repair to carry out. Such a shame in these times of reuse, recycle, and repurpose. While we cannot expect to be able to rely on a guarantee after 4 years, we did expect some empathy and perhaps even a modest discount on a new iron. We received neither! We got a take it or leave it response. Very disappointing. We shouldn’t have to be replacing something like this after only 4.5 years of relatively light use.

Great press

I wish I had bought an ironing press before, very easy to use and makes ironing less of a chore. It's so good I ironed my bedding for the first time in ages! The item was delivered quickly and I was kept informed of the delivery by DPD. All in all, I'm really pleased with my purchase.

Time saver!

Brilliant steam press, I got the XL due to doing lots of laundry for my business, and it saves me so much time, I hadn’t ever used a press before but this company was recommended to me by my business partner and it so easy to use, I got one on it's own and another one with the stand too which is also a space saver, highly recommend this product and company!
