Solved my laundry problems

I bought this ironing press last April. I've been using it for a year. Buying this iron has helped me from all hustle after the laundry supplier stopped their service. Now I'm very happy with the purchase and doing my own laundry. It has reduced big cost on laundry bills as well. For anyone doesn't mind the hard work, it is the way to go.

Good

Good well made Ironing press. Easy to use. The only thing I would improve is for it to open wider, as I keep burning my fingers on the top plate when arranging the laundry on the bottom plate.

Relaxing

I'm new to using a steam press. I watched learning video on YouTube first which was helpful. I enjoy using it, presses really well n just hold plate down 5-6secs per section. Even in a lower temp than my normal looks like I used full steam with iron. I also have back problems so can't stand n iron for long but now I sit at dining table. Very relaxing n a joy to use so ironing definitely not a chore. Wish I'd bought years ago!

Fast pressing

Superb

I’ve given this a thorough test and it’s ideal for my purpose. Primarily I will use this for block interfacing fabric for various sewing projects. I also tried it on denim jeans and the most stubborn heavy 100% cotton bedding. I found that a kingside duvet cover folded lengthways (4 x folds) was perfect after pressing. The only slight niggle was that it would be really good to have more space at the back to arrange the cover as you work from the back drawing the item forwards to press. I did manage to catch my hand (ouch) whilst trying to fit the fabric in place. I’m sure with either a smaller quilt or fewer layers this wouldn’t be problematic. Excellent product, fast delivery and I would thoroughly recommend. 5* IMHO

Good for the money but leaks

This is a good press all in all. Although there is one bug bear! When NOT using the steam, the back left corner leaks water onto the garments when the press is fully down. Leaves water on the garments, not a biggie but quite annoying!

Ironing press

Super Mega Press

This is my 2nd purchase of the Super Mega Press. My last one was 5yrs old when it died. It is used 3 days per week for up to 8hrs a day and has never failed me. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that I am disappointed with the quality of the foam pad. It wrinkles very quickly. I actually bought a felt pad and cut to suit and have had no problems since.
