I had been using an Elna press for many years and so I was familiar with working with my new Ultra XL Steam 90cm Ironing Press. But it still takes getting used to the new machine and I am very happy to report that it is a joy to work with. I was also very grateful for the advice and support given by The Ironing Press Company. Their guidance was very welcome and their courier was also polite and very helpful. Altogether a very good experience.

Great time saver

Previously had a smaller press which ended up in a shed as it wasn’t very good, but needed to revisit the idea as I have lots of bed linen to iron. I went for the wider press and so glad I did. Much easier to fit everything on the plate and not a lot heavier than the smaller model. Very pleased with my purchase.

Ultra XL

I bought the Ultra XL almost a year ago and it has been a game changer for me. I keep guests on occasion and between that and dressing beds for friends and family coming to stay I was finding the constant ironing of sheets and duvet covers exhausting but the steam press has made it all much quicker and easier. It is also great that you sit while using the steam press. I am very happy with it. Also the customer service from the company was excellent.

If you can accommodate, go large

The Ultra XL Steam Ironing Press 90cm is as large as it comes, we used to have a 65cm one and was worried this would be too big, it just fit ????, with this size it tackled the laundry with ease, bedsheets were ironed much quicker than before, in all a very good iron press, if you can accommodate the size then go large ????

Having been reassurred that the noise it makes when the steam is released is normal ; I am very happy with the press. Almost makes ironing a pleasure...so my wife says!!
