705 B is a specially-designed needle without a scarf and a shorter eye manufactured for specific Bernina household sewing machines: model numbers beginning with the digits 5, 6, 7, or 8 (Bernina 500, 600, 700 or 800 series machines) or the model 900. These machines were manufactured, timed and developed to work optimally with this needle system. Consult your manual for the proper needle selection for your brand and model number.
