Jaguar 099 Advanced overlocker

I received the machine yesterday and well on time. The machine is wonderful, I have tried the overlocker and the stitching is perfect. The elastic stirring foot worked very well. The only problem was the trim tray fastening broke and I have to adhere it with blue tack. But overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

Great quality machine

I've never had an overlocker before, so did lots of research beforehand. This provided all of the features I wanted including being able to do 2, 3 and 4 thread stitches. It also came with a whole host of extras. Only just starting out, but have easily made my first garment. I would suggest becoming fully familiar with how to thread it first and have a good read of the comprehensive instructions, and you'll be set up in no time. Very pleased with my purchase so far.

Easy to thread

This is a great product. It's easy to thread but I think it's very important to read the manual and work through it if you haven't used an overlocker before. I made a sampler using different stitches and fabrics which was invaluable and helped me to understand the machine. I tried two, three and four thread stitches. Brilliant. Delivery of the machine was next day too. Excellent!

Jaguar 099

My first overlocker and I have just plucked up the courage to re-thread. Shouldn't have worried, as it was straightforward. It's a lovely machine and I am delighted.

Brilliant!

Really pleased with my overlocker. It has everything I need and more. I went for the bundle as it is good value for money. The overlocker is quiet and runs smooth. The description stated easy threading and it isn't wrong. It is an absolute doddle to thread. The only thing that would make threading easier would be an air assisted model costing considerably more. I found The Ironing Press Company to be quick at despatching and kept me updated. I found that they are very helpful with quick responses to my emails and readily supplied me with advice and tips. Lovely machine to work with

I am very happy so far with this overlocker. Although I have only used it once so far, its operation was smooth, easy and very professional. It came pre-threaded, which was very helpful. There are clear markings on the machine which indicate the threading pattern. The only small hassle is how to fit the lint tray, which is not clearly demonstrated in the manual. I would definitely recommend this machine.

Very good service

1st Overlocker

So far so good!! I am new to sewing but felt I needed an Overlocker for the professional finish. Delivered incredibly quickly and packaged really well. On emptying the box on the table so I can lol at the wondrous machine and read the instruction manual I just look in awe!! It’s an an amazing bit of kit well made, looks good and it’s threaded!! Nice little touch was a piece of Overlocker fabric under the foot to show it works. Got some scraps and had a play it’s amazing I love it but I have some serious respect for it overall brilliant and I haven’t even started really yet!!
